Privacy Policy

When you use Oinote, we process the following data:

• Email — when you sign up and sign in (including Sign in with Apple / Google)
• Notes, groups, links between notes, and all content you create
• AI chat history and assistant requests
• Profile settings: name, avatar, interface language
• Microphone audio — only when you use voice input (dictation into a note or AI chat); audio is not recorded in the background

Your data is used solely to power AI features in your account: note search, assistant replies, text structuring, embeddings, voice transcription, and other features you trigger yourself.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing. We do not use advertising trackers. Only you and the infrastructure required to run the service have access to your data.

Oinote is free to use. There are no in-app purchases or paid subscriptions.

All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) on secured servers. Data transfer between your device and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS.

Each user can only see their own notes — access to other accounts' data is blocked at the database level.

You can delete your account and all related data in Settings → Account. After confirmation, notes, groups, chat history, profile, and the account itself are removed.

Deletion is irreversible. If you need help exporting or deleting data, email hello@oinote.app.

For AI features we send portions of your data to the following providers — only to process a specific request:

• Anthropic Claude API — response generation, structuring, note analysis
• OpenAI — vector embeddings for semantic search, and speech-to-text when you use voice input
• Apple / Google — only for Sign in with Apple or Google authentication

These services process data as subprocessors and do not use your content to train models on Oinote API requests.
